Festival, Part 2 is the forty-seventh chapter of Tomohito Oda's Komi Can't Communicate.

Summary

Najimi convinces Tadano and Komi to draw lots, a game where you pull ropes connected to prizes, except which ropes connect to which prizes is unknown. Najimi enjoys the game, and Tadano is concerned, as the game is essentially gambling. Najimi tries pulling the most worn out rope to get a Play Store 4 (PlayStation 4 parody), but only gets tissues. Tadano tries, and when he considers which rope to pull, the shopkeeper, an old woman, gives various reactions based on each one. Tadano pulls one during which the shopkeeper gives a worried reaction, but only gets tissues as well. As Komi tries, Tadano notices that the shopkeepers demeanour changes to a cunning grin. She (internally) monologues about how she uses strategy to cheat her costumers, such as how the frayed rope is a fake, how her expression changes tactfully and how the ropes only make people confused and unsure. However, Komi doesn't think about which rope to pull too much, and produces the PS4, to the shopkeepers shock, to Najimi's delight.

The group goes fish scooping, as Nakanaka quietly slips in, and mutters some edgy chants to get the fish to come to her. However the fish all swim away from her, so she leaves (with a freebie), claiming that she and Komi's paths will cross again (Komi didn't even notice her). Najimi also gets a freebie, but Komi gets an entire, cramped bag of fish. Komi declines, probably because it's animal cruelty. Yamai, having regained consciousness, asks Komi to crouch down, and tries to feed her a frank-furter, but Najimi quickly jumps in and eats it herself.

Later, the group is walking and Komi, who was distracted by the stalls, falls behind and starts to panic. Tadano noticed she was missing, and reassures her that she could use her phone to call him (she didn't think of it). Komi and Tadano wait for the group to circle back around, as they talk about the festival. Tadano says that it was fun hanging out in a big group, as Komi writes in the dirt (she forgot her notepad) that she enjoyed hanging out with just Tadano as well. Instantly blushing, she rubs out the message with her foot, Tadano didn't see it. They meet up with the group again, as Yamai tries to get Komi to eat a white chocolate banana...
