The Nita father and daughter are quite alike.

—Chapter 61

The Nita Diner (煮田食堂) is a restaurant ran by father and daughter duo Shinji and Musubi, that is introduced in Chapter 61. The restaurant had no customers and was the only restaurant that Agari Himiko didn't visit yet because no other customers were inside. Himiko later visited the restaurant along with Najimi, Shouko and Tadano upon which Musubi mistook Shouko as the celebrity food reviewer "Ramen is my staple food" (later revealed to actually be Himiko). During the time the group was there, Shouko received special treatment from Musubi, Najimi got regular service, while Tadano and Himiko were blatantly forgotten. However, Shinji's cooking was excellent and Himiko gave a positive review afterwards, which brought customers to the diner.

The duo and the diner later make another appearance in chapter 65, where they still believed Shouko to be the famous reviewer and allowed fliers for the Itan High School Cultural Festival to be put all over the shop.

Trivia[]

  • The name Nita can be read as "to be alike", hence why when they argue they act very similar to each other. Furthermore, the ni in Nita means "to cook".
  • Musubi heard about the celebrity food reviewer due to the popularity spike in Tomita's restaurant
  • Shinji seems to be divorced, and stopped cooking for the customer when his wife left.
