Chii Saiko (西湖 ちい Saiko Chii?) is an elementary student and one of Komi's Friends.
Appearance[]
Saiko is a tall girl with long blonde hair tied in two twin tails with part of her bangs combed sideways covering one of her green eyes, she's always seen with a playful grinning, showing that she has notable shark-shaped teeth. She initially wears a half-red-half-blue jacket, a white and black top underneath, a zebra pattern(white in the anime) scarf, black bike shorts, black and white stripped stockings and black boots.
Lately in the series, she's had different kinds of outfits for every moment as well as having her hair untied.
Personality[]
Not much is known about her personality other than having an allegedly confidence in herself and always being perceptive just like noticing the closeness on Shouta and Itsuya, or noticing that Komi didn't get her stamps for the radio exercises.[1]
History[]
Chii along with Shouta, Lola and Itsuya are four elementary school students living in Komi's neighborhood who first meet her when Najimi invites them to a snowball fight where after being surprised by Komi's performance in the snowball fight, Saiko along with the other three kids befriends Komi.
She eventually meet Komi again along with the group during summer vacation when they all take part in radio exercises, then again when Komi and her friends help out selling food at a summer festival.
Her last appearance was along with the group once again for the Komi's friend list recount where she's revealed to be Komi's 19th friend.
Trivia[]
- Her name is a pun on the japanese word chiisai (小さい?), meaning "small", despite her being the tallest of the four kids.
- She has a crush on Oki Itsuya.
- Her outfit in her first appearance for the anime held some resemblances to the DC Comics character Harley Quinn for the movie Suicide Squad.
