Appearance[]
Shinobino wears the Itan school uniform along with a black face mask, a black bandana with a metal plate, black fingerless gloves, and a black scarf, giving him a stereotypical ninja look.
In the whole series, he's never seen without his ninja outfit, specially his facemask, however, in Chapter 494 we could see him without his face mask for the first time(though it was part of a fantasy).
History[]
Shinobino is friends with Chiarai and Sonoda. The three are most prominently seen in Chapter 75 and Chapter 77 where the three discuss which of the girls in class (+Najimi) would be the best to date.
Trivia[]
- His name is a homonym for the phrase 忍びの者 (shinobi no mono), meaning "a person in hiding." Shinobi no mono is the historical term for someone trained in stealth to act as a spy, either as a saboteur or an assassin.
- He is able to throw things very accurately, and was able to throw a compass through the gap in between Tadano's thumb and index fingers,[2] and land a shuriken right in front of Naruse.[3]
- His athletic ability is ninja-like, capable of jumping very high[4].
- In Chapter 58, he makes a suggestion to Tadano to form the "Komi Bodyguards". He is later shown to be part of the group in question, along with Kishi Himeko, Samurai Sam, and an unnamed maid girl.[5]
- Tadano kissed Shinobino on the cheek in Chapter 98 of the manga as part of the King game.
