Sonoda has slicked-back black hair and is most often seen wearing the Itan school uniform.
History[]
Sonoda is friends with Chiarai and Shinobino. The three are most prominently seen in Volume 6 Chapters 75 and 77 where the three discuss which of the girls in class (and Najimi) would be the best to date.

- Sonoda Taisei's name is a pun on その他大勢 (sonota oozei), meaning "minor character".
- His official visual image file name is sonota_visual.
- It's been revealed in the extra pages of Chapter 494 for the Volume 37 that Sonoda has a crush on Onigashima Akako.
- It's heavily implied that after being encouraged by the Fantasy Club to go and confess his feelings, he achieved it as he was seen in Chapter 498 along with Akako in the background in which looks like a typical love confession.[2]
